K950 A Car Spoiler Material
The EEC K950 is a high-foaming and low-density epoxy core material, which is used to make the core materials of various carbon fiber products. This foam core exhibits exceptional foaming properties with a theoretical foaming ratio of 80 times when subjected to 1 atm at 150°C for 20 minutes. In practical applications, it achieves a foaming ratio of 20.5 times.
The initial density of K950 is 1.03 g/cm³, which significantly reduces to a foaming density range of 0.045 to 0.077 g/cm³ upon expansion. This reduction in density results in a lightweight yet robust structure. The hardness of the foamed material falls within the same range as its density, indicating a consistent and uniform texture throughout the foamed product.
K950’s primary applications include automotive components such as car spoilers and aerospace components like drone wings, where its lightweight and high-strength characteristics provide significant performance advantages.
