Pickleball Racket Material Core 30-35 Times Foaming | K680
The K680 is a foam core that can be used as the pickleball racket material, tennis racket, and badminton racket… Its theoretical foaming ratio is from 800-100Times, which is a high-foaming and low-density epoxy core material, used to make the core materials of various carbon fiber products. It can increase the stiffness of the composite material structure and reduce the weight.

Description
K680 Foamcore Description
The K680 foam core is specifically designed for use in pickleball rackets. It features a theoretical foaming ratio of 80-100 times when subjected to 1 atm pressure at 150°C for 20 minutes. In practical applications, the foaming ratio ranges from 15-25 times, resulting in a density of 0.035-0.060 g/cm³.
The initial density of the K680 foam core is 0.76 ± 0.05 g/cm³. It has a Shore C hardness of 45-55 when the density is 0.060 g/cm³, and the material is processed at 145°C for 50 minutes. These properties make the K680 foam core an ideal material for manufacturing high-performance pickleball rackets, or other sports products.

K680 Foam Material Use Guide
As a core material for prepreg products, it is placed in the structural position that needs to be filled. The specific process parameters for use, including the hot-pressing molding temperature and time as well as the cooling temperature and time, are consistent with those of conventional prepreg products.
Taking the production of badminton or pickleball rackets as an example:
- Cut the foam material.
- Apply the prepreg and roll it into strips.
- Clean the mold and apply release agent.
- Place the strips into the mold and secure it.
- Transfer the mold to a hot platen at a temperature of 140-150°C for 20-50 minutes.
- Move the mold to a cooling platen and cool it until the mold temperature drops below 50°C.
- Open the mold and remove the part.
